As of April 14, 2025, Mobile Society for Human Resource Management (MSHRM) is excited to announce an alliance with the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in the strategic initiative known as Dual Membership. As an award-winning local chapter of SHRM with a rich tradition of being the local go-to group for all things HR, Dual Membership will offer further opportunities to connect, collaborate, learn, and grow.

Becoming a 100% chapter, MSHRM will have access to nationally recognized speakers. It will allow members to maximize their access to the SHRM Competency Model to facilitate the advancement of career paths or further knowledge as a student or business professional. Alignment with National SHRM lends credibility and strength in numbers increasing the effectiveness when representing HR professionals with grassroots efforts at the legislative level.

MSHRM empowers members by providing personal and professional development, invaluable networking opportunities, the exchange of diverse knowledge and experience, state and federal legal updates, and opportunities to attend conferences, educational meetings in-person and virtually.

After April 14, 2025, membership in MSHRM will require membership in National SHRM, i.e., Dual Membership. For current members of MSHRM, their local level membership will expire on December 31,2025. MSHRM professional membership fee is $60 a year.  Members receive discounts on meetings,  conferences and special events.  *Effective January 1, 2026, MSHRM membership fee will increase to $100*. The new fee will include all in-person, virtual meetings, our new annual membership appreciation event and discounts on conferences and other events. Those not taking the opportunity for Dual Membership may still participate as a MSHRM Partner by pre-registering and paying a $40* fee in-person and $20* fee for virtual chapter meetings they wish to attend.
