We’re currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our team of nearly 300 employees and 19 physicans.
Position Overview The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing multi-functional HR services including: Talent Acquisition; Benefits Administration; Performance Management; Employee Relations; and Employment Law.
Position Requirements • Must have strong knowledge of sound HR practices, and applicable law. • Must be able to demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office Products. • Must have the ability to objectively solve evaluate complex, difficult, and sometimes emotionallycharged problems and to make recommendations to effectively resolve issues by using good judgment that is consistent with organizational standards, policies, procedures, and applicable law. • Must understand the highly confidential nature of HR, and have the ability to carry out responsibilities in a discreet manner. • Must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees throughout the organization. Must be able to demonstrate a strong sense of customer-focus. • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently within interpretive guidelines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills. • Must have and maintain a valid Mississippi driver's license and be able to travel to all clinic locations, as needed. • Must have the ability to work overtime, as needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities: • Coordinates all aspects of the Talent Acquisition cycle including: recruiting, preliminary screening, employment offers, new employee orientation, and on-boarding. • Collaborates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, and job specifications, responsibilities, competencies, qualifications, and skills. Develops and maintains job descriptions and job postings. • Administers employee benefits. Addresses benefit inquiries and issues to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Coordinates enrollment for new employees, and assists with changes for employees with qualifying events. Coordinates company-wide Open Enrollment event. Evaluates and compares current benefits with those of other employers, and helps to maintain Bienville’s competitive position in local labor market area. Conducts regular audits to ensure accurate billing, payment, and benefit eligibility. • Prepares various reports including EEO-1, VETS 100, and other required governmental reporting; prepares various HR metrics and talent/workforce analytics. • Assists with the development, implementation and administration of various HR policies, procedures, and programs; prepares and maintains the employee handbook. • Assists with the administration of total compensation and performance evaluation programs. • Serves as a member of the Employee Relations Committee. Assists in planning special events and recognition programs. • Maintains complete and accurate personnel and benefits files, and HRIS records. • Ensures HR-related compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. • Assists with payroll processing as needed. • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of HR services. • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. 3-5 years of HR Generalist or applicable experience required. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
